Show Funeral Rites Held Last Saturday for Shauna Edwards Funeral services for Shauna Edwards, 16, who was killed instantly instant-ly last Wednesday night, when she was struck by a car while crossing Highway 89 near the rodeo grounds, were held Saturday, Sept. 22 in the Pleasant Grove Stake Center under the direction of Bishop Gillman of the Lindon Fifth Ward. Speakers at the services ser-vices were Ron Zeidner and President John Gourley, and Bishop Gillman gave remarks. A life sketch was given by a sister, Annette Mills. Musical numbers were given by the A Cappella Choir from the High School, and an organ solo by Chris Hansen. Prayers were given by Lamont Edwards, Frank Mills and Tom Paul, and the grave in the Pleasant Grove City Ci-ty Cemetery was dedicated by Kevin Edwards. Ed-wards. Pallbearers were Lamont, La-mont, Kevin, Bryan, and Jay Edwards, Kent Bliss, Brad Mills and Jason Paul. Shauna Edwards was born March 20, 1963 in American Fork, a daughter of Max R. and Renee Bliss Edwards. She was a student at the Pleasant Grove High School, where she was a member of the a cappella choir and participated par-ticipated in sports activities. ac-tivities. She was an active member of the LDS Church and had been serving as a Primary teacher. Survivors include her parents, two sisters, and five brothers, Mrs. Frank (Annette) Mills, Mrs. Thomas (Rhonda) Paul, Bryan K. Edwards, Ed-wards, all of Pleasant Grove: Kevin B. Ed- wards, American Fork, Kenneth M. Edwards, Orem, LaMonte Edwards, Ed-wards, St. George, Jay Dee Edwards, Lindon; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Philo T. Edwards, Provo, and Mrs. Loreen Bliss, Orem. |
