Show Funeral Services Held Monday for Paul Bezzant Funeral services in memory of Paul Bezzant, 23, were held at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 19, in the Lindon Ward Chapel, under the direction of Dean Adams, counselor in the Second Ward LDS Bishopric. Mr. Bezzant died Wednesday, Feb. 14, 1968. Speakers who spoke of the short but active life of the young man were Oliver K. Johnson and Bishop Lowell Gillman. William E. Petersen favored with the vocal solo "Somewhere "Some-where My Love" accompanied by S. Hal Haycock and Wilma Taylor sang "You'll Never Walk Alone" accompanied by Clara Ann Hooley. Prelude and postlude were played by La-Dean La-Dean Gillman. Family prayer was led by Lloyd B. Gray; Marion Johnson John-son asked the invocation and benediction was offered by George Howarth. Pallbearers were Gregory Howarth, Harry Thomas, Steven Stev-en Houghton, Vaughn Harris, Garth Walker and Richard Weeks. Flowers were arranged by the Lindon Second Ward Relief Re-lief Society. Burial was in Pleasant Grove City Cemetery where Bruce Bone dedicated the grave. Paul Bezzant was born in American Fork, Jan. 15, 1943, a son of Floyd and Virginia Gray Bezzant. He married Val-arie Val-arie Howarth May 13, 1966 in Provo. He attended the Lindon and Pleasant Grove public schools, was a member of the LDS Church, and was an employee of Geneva Steel Corp. Survivors include his widow, parents, Lindon; brother, sisters, sis-ters, Nile, Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Joyce Fowles, Sandy; Mrs. James (Merl) Cullimore, LaRee, txth Lindon; Mrs. Royce (Fae) Branning, Sicily. |
