RAYMOND NELSON Raymond Nelsons to Celebrate Golden Wedding Anhversary Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Nelson will celebrate their Golden Wedding Wed-ding Anniversary Sunday, July 10, 1960, with an open house for their family and friends at 395 South Main, Pleasant Grove, from 3 to 7 p.m. They request no gifts. They are looking forward to seeing old friends and new at this milestone in their lives. After 50 years of married life in Pleasant Grove they have experienced many happy years together. ' Raymond Nelson was born in Pleasant Grove 71 years ago to Ferdinand and Mary Mayhew Nelson on August 30, 1888. He has lived here all his life. His wife, Ann Nelson, was born in Denmark to N. C. and Johanna Christensen Hansen on January 1, 1890. She came to Utah wilh her family when she was seven years old and they later settled in Lehi. They were married in the Salt Lake Temple on July 12, 1910. They have three children, Howard How-ard in Provo, Keith in Pleasant Grove, and Mrs. Dorothy Ann Bradley in Bountifui, Utah. They have 13 grandchildren. Raymond has been a carpenter in Pleasant Grove for 55 years, and has built many homes in this area. He was a member of the Volunteer Fire Dept. here for 39 years. Ann has raised her oluldren and made a home for her family. They have been active in church affairs, and are looking forward to many more years full of happiness. |
