Foulke, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earnest Earn-est Fowlke of Orem. The young couple exchanged vows at the home of the grooms sister and brother in law Dr. and Mrs. John R. Halliday of I'rovo, in the presence of close relatives and friends. Bishop T heron J. Kirk officiated. Following the ceremony an informal in-formal reception was tendered the newly weds and lunch was served to about fifty guests. Mr. and Mrs. Fowkle will make their home in Pleasant Grove at the E. A. Beck apartments. Prior to ther marriage Mrs. Fowlke was the object of much social attention. On Saturday evening her mother entertained a group of ladies informally in-formally at her home in the Second Sec-ond ward. Games formed the evening's eve-ning's entertainment and was followed fol-lowed by refreshments and the bride to be was showered with beautiful gifts'. Guest list included: Vivian Hen-rie, Hen-rie, Mrs. Carl Draper, Mrs. Paul Madson, Mrs. Ernest Fowlke, Mrs. LeGrande Fowlke, Mrs. Peterson, Mrs. Thomas, Miss Vivian Peterson, Peter-son, Miss Elaine Parry, Mrs. John Richardson, Mrs. C. A. Fugal, Mrs. Mary C. Varney, Mrs. Emma Em-ma Lou Millet, Mrs. Fraughton, Mrs. A. W. Green, Mrs Joe Chorn-eak Chorn-eak Mrs. Jensen, Miss Louise Walker, Mr. Mack, Mrs. Earnest Ash and Miss Ranee Ash. On Monday evening Mrs. Earnest Ear-nest Fowlke entertained at a bridal brid-al shower for Miss Jolley at her home in Orem. About 50 guests of the young bride to be enjoyed an informal evening of fun and refreshments. Sound advice, good wishes and lovelv gifts were bestowed on the honor guest. |
