Show Ovid and Venice Jeppson to be honored on 50th anniversary I fr Ovid and Venice Bottomfield Jeppson, Pleasant Grove, will celebrate cele-brate their 50th wedding anniversary anniver-sary Friday, Aug. 25, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove 6th Ward, 475 N. 700 East. The celebration is for all friends and relatives. They request no gifts. Ovid and Venice met in Salt Lake and were married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple Oct. 3, 1939. Ovid served a mission to North Carolina in 1933. He worked for the Denver & Rio Grande Railroad for 10 years and then did masonry work with his brother. He then became a general contractor con-tractor and built many homes in Utah, Idaho and Reno, Nev. He wa :i VnVVi r, ncilnr rrnsp?l doctrine instructor and held many other teaching positions in the church. He currently is working in the Provo Temple. Venice has been a homemaker and raised five children. She graduated gradu-ated from beauty school and worked several years as a beautician. She also was a dress designer for Mal-ouf Mal-ouf Manufacturing. Venice has worked in Relief Society and Sunday Sun-day School and in the Primary.
