Morgan Mr. and Mrs. Leslie E. Rees are announcing the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Marianne to Dennis A. Morgan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray D. Morgan of Springville. The couple will be married May 17 in the Salt Lake Temple, with a reception to follow that same evening in the Timpanogos Stake Center, Cen-ter, 800 North, 100 West. Friends are invited to attend at-tend from 8 to 10 p.m. Attending the bride will be Mrs. Diane Bennett, Gayle Beardall, Linda Christenson, Lorilee Thorne, and Alison Beveridge. Best man duties will be shared by John and Cliff Morgan, brothers of the bridegroom. bride-groom. The bride-elect graduated from the Pleasant Grove High School, where she was active in school activities. She attended at-tended Utah State University where she was a varsity cheerleader. cheer-leader. She was the 1972 Strawberry Days Queen and first attendant attend-ant to Miss Utah County. In the Miss Utah contest last year, she was the recipient of a talent tal-ent scholarship. Miss Rees is currently employed in Orem. The prospective bridegroom graduated with honors from Spanish Fork High School, where he was active in sports. He attended the University of Utah and has fulfilled an LDS Mission to Norway. Following a honeymoon, the couple will reside in Spanish Fork, where the bridegroom is employed. He will continue his education in the fall. |
