DENNIS TERRY (Elsa WatMns) Elsa Watkins and Dennis Terry Are Married July 12, Reception Followed white daisies. The bride's aunt chose a light green dress of surrano and inset lace. The groom's mother wore a green and white bonded lace and surrano suit. They wore matching corsages of yellow yel-low cymbidium orchids. Performing duties of best man was Jay Bone. Ushers were Eldon Watkins, Stanley Terry, Jimmie Cates and William Will-iam Anderson. Decor throughout the entertaining enter-taining area was carried out in yellow and green. The bridal party stood before a glimmering glimmer-ing backdrop with large pillars and touched off with large ferns and flowers. The serving tables had lovely baskets of daisies on them. The beautiful cake was trimmed trim-med in yellow and green. It was three layers high with a three-cake three-cake base. In charge of the guest book was Merilee Wendell. In front of a French cart, Carma and Jerry King greeted guests. Arranging Ar-ranging gifts were Jean Terry, Carol Billon and Ruth Nash. Serving was done by Jana Christensen, Kathy Walker, Yvonne Carlton, Marci Tun-bridge, Tun-bridge, Cris and Denice Fehl-berg, Fehl-berg, Anita MrDaniel, Betty Broadbent, and Pauline Pope. Lisa King, David Terry and Teresa Spray received gifts. As a going away suit, the Elsa Watkins became the bride of Dennis Terry in rites performed in the Alpine Ward Church by Bishop Robert B. Smith on July 12. The couple were feted later the same evening with a reception recep-tion in the ward cultural hall, with C. Bernell Watkins, father of the bride, hosting the affair. Mrs. Anita Tunbridge stood in line for her late sister, Hertha F. Watkins. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Dilworth Terry of Pleasant Grove. For her wedding the bride designed and made her dress of bridal satin, silk organza and handcut lace. Features of the gown were hand sewn seed pearls, long bell sleeves and a scalloped neckline. Her floor length veil of illusion and appli-qued appli-qued lace was caught at the crown by a bow and a small pearl crown. She carried a large white orchid, yellow roses and lily of the valley. Attending the bride was Cheryl Walker, Ojai, Calif., Cherrie Dolphin, Phoenix, Ariz. LaLani Sheen, Sharon Tunbridge, Tun-bridge, Colleen and Marlene Terry, sisters of the groom. Each wore floor length dresses of yellow surrano. The dresses featured a lace yoke, puffed sleeves, and were tied at the waist with satin ribbons. Each carried baskets of yellow and bride wore a yellow suit with matching accessories. After a honeymoon trip to Las Vegas, the couple will make their home at 283 East Main in American Fork. A pre-nuptial party was given by Carma King and Jean Terry. |
