Blake home in Lindon, the engagement engage-ment and approaching marriage of Dianne Evelyn Blake to Garth F. Croft was made known to 70 close relatives and friends of the Blake and Croft family. The bride- elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David W. Blake. As gueste arrived they were handed a white napkin held in a roll by an "engagement" ring tied with pink and green ribbon. Under the ring was tucked a green arrow upon which was written "Dianne and Garth." The serving table had for a centerpiece a large replica of the bride-elect's ring set upon a silver heart and surrounded by honeysuckle blooms and deep pink roses. Special guests at the announcement announce-ment party were Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Cullimore, Mr. Croft's grandparents. grand-parents. The groom-elect is the son of Mrs. Florence Croft of Pleasant Grove and the late Claude F. Croft. Miss Blake is a graduate of Hawthorne High School, Hawthorne, Haw-thorne, Calif., where she was popular pop-ular as an organist and pianist, having served as accompanist for the high school's chorus for four years. She has attended Brigham Young University for two years, and is currently filling a Timpan-ogos Timpan-ogos Stake LDS Mission. Mr. Croft is a graduate of the Pleasant Grove High School and has attended the BYU ' three years. He will be graduated with a B. S. in Basteriology next spring. He is a member and serves as vice president of the Beta Sigma Sig-ma social unit at the Y . |
