Show Young Couple Are Honored At Home of Bride J Mr. and Mrs. 'Mercer J. Greenwood Green-wood entertained at a nicely planned plan-ned wedding reception at their home in American Fork on Aug. 28, honoring their daughter Fay and Archie King Loader, son of Mrs. Ada and the late Archie Loader of this city. The rooms were tastefully decorated de-corated with summer blooms. The newlyweds and their party received receiv-ed relatives nd friends in front of a wonderful display of Gladioli nd lighted candelebra. In the linup with the honored couple were their parents, the brides attendants Mrs Merlin Hanson, Han-son, matron of honor; Miss Mavis Loader, maid of--honor and Miss Donna Andreason, Miss Barbara Johnson and Mrs. David Levey, the groom's grandmother Mrs Annie An-nie Loader, and best man, Arnold Matthews, and Conrad Loader. The bride was gowned in brocaded bro-caded satin, floor length, with a lace trimmed fingertip veil which fell from a teara of seed pearls. She carried American Beauty roses ros-es and white carnations. Her attendants at-tendants wore pastel formals and carried corsages of Gladioli. In charge of the gift display were Mrs. Leah Morgan and Mrs. Marion Peterson, assisted by Ar-lene Ar-lene Beck and Elaine Andreason. In the serving room a beautiful wedding cake centered the table. Mrs. Ella Christenesn and Mrs. Lillian Beck was in charge. Young ladies serving were Patty Torrey, Ruth Peterson, Carol Greenwood, Barbara Pulley, Carol Smith. The young couple were married on August 9, at Evanston, Wyoming. Wyom-ing. Mr. Loader will leave early in September for army service at Fort Ord, California, while his wife plans to continue her stu-ies stu-ies at the Am. Fork high school. |
