Williams celebrated cel-ebrated her 80th birthday on Jan. 16. Her family will host a belated celebration on Saturday, Sat-urday, April 12, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the LDS Church at 145 E. 1430 North, Orem. All family members and friends are invited to share this event with her. She requests no gifts, please. Lorraine was born Jan. 16, 1923, to Thomas G. and Annie B. Hansen in Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove. She attended schools in American Fork, graduating from American Fork High School in 1941. She married Dwaine F. Williams on Nov. 13, 1945, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Tem-ple. He passed away May 20, 1999. She was employed at Bayly Manufacturing in Pleasant Grove and in the i ! Lorraine H. Williams Alpine School District lunch program. She is a member of the Timpanogos Roadrunners and the Whistler Stops Good Sam Chapters. She has four children: Lynn D. (Pat) Williams, Sharleen (Dick) Allen, Annella (Mike) Carter, all of Orem; and Thomas H. (Carol) Williams, American Fork. She has 13 grandchildren grandchil-dren and 16 great-grandchildren. Cameron Lundgren to wed Kobi Jo Adamson April 1 2 Kobi Jo Adamson, daughter daugh-ter of Dianne Adamson of Pleasant Grove, and Darryl and Sandi Adamson of Plac-itas, Plac-itas, N.M., will marry Cameron John Lundgren, son of Rob and Suzette Lundgren of Lindon and Trudy and Brian Clark of Lehi, on Saturday, April 12, in Lindon. A reception will honor the couple from 7 to 9 p.m. at Somewhere Inn Time in Lindon. The event is open to all friends and relatives. Strawberry Days committee announces this year's theme By Kalyn Secretan "The Hope and Power of a Dream" will be the theme for Strawberry Days, June 16-21. The first event will be the Queen Pageant on Saturday, April 12, at 7 p.m. at Pleasant Grove High School. The Grand Marshals Mar-shals and Business of the Year will also be introduced. intro-duced. The Strawberry Days Committee met recently and discussed the rodeo and other events. There are already 38 entries for the parade that will be held Saturday, June 21, at 10 a.m. The traditional celebration cele-bration will feature a concert con-cert on Tuesday night, the Children's Parade on TTr.joir ovpnintr. with WeUIlCDUCijr . ,j- the breakfast on Thursday morning. The rodeo will be held for four nights, June 18-21. A baby contest will be a new event this year. It will be held Wednesday morning under the direction of Mandy Carson of the Recreation Recre-ation Department. Huck Finn Day will also be sponsored spon-sored by the Recreation Department. The Rodeo Queen Contest Con-test will be Saturday, May . 3, and the Junior Rodeo Queen contest will be on May 10.
