Barrus, son of Becky and Ron Christensen of Pleasant Grove, received his Eagle Scout award Sept. 22 in a Court of Honor. He is a member of Troop 166. For his Eagle service project, he re.seeded an area in the Pleasant Grove foothills that had been destroyed. Brett is in the ninth grade at Pleasant Grove Junior High School. He likes to snowboard, skate- Stephanie Gray graduates from Culinary Institute Stephanie Gray recently graduated from the Western West-ern Culinary Institute in Portland, Ore. She served a three-month three-month internship at Sheraton Shera-ton Resorts in Tahiti. Her parents are Maxine Gray of Pleasant Grove and Michael Gray of Orem. She is a graduate of Pleasant Grove High School. Cameron T. Larsen Elder Cameron T. Larsen, son of Terry and Nadine Larsen of Lindon, has been called to serve in the California Santa Rosa LDS Mission. Coleman has graduated from basic military mili-tary training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Anto-nio, Texas. Shawn Foster has graduated from the heavy-wheeled vehicle mechanic advanced individual individ-ual training course at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. During the course, the soldier sol-dier learned to perform unit maintenance on heavy duty vehicles, including prime movers designated as more than five tons and associated trailers, such as crane, hoist, and winch assemblies, and material handling equipment; equip-ment; performed maintenance mainte-nance and repaired systems, chassis, and assemblies pertaining per-taining to brake, ignition, engine, electrical, axle, hydraulic, transmission, suspension, sus-pension, wheel, and steeling. He is the son of John R. Foster of Pleasant Grove. Quinton Hadley earns Eagle Scout award Quinton Steven Hadley, son of Steven and Camille Hadley of Pleasant Grove, received his Eagle Scout award Sept. 22 in a Court of Honor. He is a member of Troop 166. For his Eagle service project, he organized an educational water storagesanitation booth as part of a mock earthquake drill held in his LDS ward boundaries. Quinton is a junior at Hales, Todd Watcott, Matt Hughes, Sam Naugle, Dustin Powell and Nathan Ramsey. Ram-sey. Nikolas Mickelsen conducted a book drive for the new Timpanogos Academy Charter School in Lindon. Todd Watcott painted the basketball courts on the playground play-ground at Grovecrest Elementary. Matt Hughes conducted a blood drive at the Timpanogos Stake Center where 45 usable pints were obtained, with 13 deferrals. defer-rals. Dustin Powell did fingerprinting for the children in the city. Wade Nielsen and Sam Naugle both had projects where they worked on the wildlife guzzlers. They both had projects to repair the guzzlers to water the wildlife in the mountains.
