Fordham of Pleasant Grove and Joseph Christiansen of Lindon have given their approval ap-proval to this worthy effort Dr. E. Eddington, director of the City-County Health Dept of Utah County has asked for the support of everyone In the fight to stamp out mosquitos from the Utah County area. He urges everyone to destroy all possible breeding places In their yards and to carry on a spray program pro-gram themselves through the summer. Dr. Eddington states that spraying can be done at a very reasonable cost using the garden gar-den hose as the spray equipment equip-ment The following materials are available for this purpose: Malathion or Debron are two of the organo-phosphate insecticides- that are effective and safe to use. If a residual spray is desired and no food products are being grown on the premises, any of the chlorinated hydro-carbons can be used. One of the, best of these is Isotez, since it gives a fast knock-down of adults and gives a good residual effect Follow the instructions on the label as to the rate of application. appli-cation. The recommended rates for other pests will be effective against mosquitoes as well. Visits in Utah Mr. and Mrs. Monte D.
