JEANETTE WARNICK retires from SS teaching Life-long Teaching Sunday School Assignment Ends A lifelong record of service to the Sunday School of the Latter-day Saints Church recently terminated when Jeanette Wadley Warnick of the Manila Ward, retired from teaching. Mrs. Warnick started her career car-eer as a Sunday School teacher at the age of ten when she was called to serve as organist in the newly organized Manila Ward in 1895. Since then she has served as chorister and teacher continuously. Her busy career has also included in-cluded service for many years in the Relief Society organization, organiza-tion, including six years as ward president. She also worked work-ed in the Primary and was president of that organization in her ward for a number of years. She served a term as counselor coun-selor in the YWMIA and on the ward Old Folks Committee and -was ward chorister and choir director for many years. Even though she was busy in other organizations, she always maintained her job as chorister or teacher in Sunday School, In addition to all her church work she found' time to raise a family of five children and be a busy stake president's wife for 15 years. Her husband was the former Wilford W-Warnick, W-Warnick, who served as Bishop of Manila Ward for four years and President of Timpanogos Stake for fifteen years. Sister Warnick recalls serving serv-ing under all the Bishops of Manila Ward, eleven in all, and under 27 ward superintendents of Sunday Schools, although she admits to perhaps not recalling all of the latter. Her lifetime of service serves as a wonderful wonder-ful example of devotion, duty and love for her church.
