She attended at-tended the Lindon School, graduated gradu-ated from Pleasant Grove High School. She was married to Bert B. Cook July 2, 1934 in the LDS Temple. She was an active member mem-ber of the LDS Church, filling two stake missions and was especially es-pecially Interested n genealogy " work. , Surviving are her husband of '. Irving Johnson Impressive funeral mTviet tor John Irving Johnson, 80, lifelong resident of Pleasant Grove and chtirtih and civic worker, were hold last Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Second-Fourth Ward Chapel.' Bishop Gerald Balllston presided and conducted the sonde. Mr. Johnson died at his home In rWimnt Crove February 14 at 3 p.m. after a long Illness, Speakers who paid tribute to the active, kindly and helpful life of Mr. Johnson , were two lifelong life-long friends and associates, A P. Chamber of Commerce, serving as a director and rodeo chairman for many years. He was also active in the LDS Church, holding the office of a High Priest. In 1904 he married the former Mary Epm Roberts and the marriage was later solemnized in the Salt- Lake Temple.. , Survivors include his widow, ' sons and daughters, Lyean L, and Eldon, Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Golden (Estella) Peay, Salt Lake City; Mrs. J. He had attended lindon and Pleasant Grove schools and had worked on a farm, at Bingham Ctpper Mine, as an auto median- -1c at Geneve Works during its construction and st Naytor Auto Co. He went into business for himself and operated a garage for several years. He had lived in Provo for a number of years. Surviving are his widow, Provo; Pro-vo; two sons and a daughter, Lloyd Ray Aston, Orem; Ether Keith Aston, aid Mrs. John (Le-ona) (Le-ona) Roylance, both of Provo; nine grandchildren, two brothers, , four sisters, Mrs. Leon (Ethel) ' Gordon, Mrs. Bradford (Velate) ' Shumway, Mrs. William (Irene) Shumway, Mrs. Floyd Elva) Cordner, all of Orem; Shell Aston, As-ton, Lindon and Leo S. Aston, Vivian Park. Funeral services were held on Tuesday at ths Berg Mortuary Drawing Room Chapel wvith Bishop Bish-op Leo Allen of the Provo 11th Ward officiating. Interment was in ths Provo. City Cemetery.
