Show Funeral Rites for Dewey Adamson Held Last Friday Very impressive funeral services ser-vices were conducted Friday at 10 a.m. for Dewey Adamson, who died Aug. 2 of a heart attack, while at work for the State Road Commission near Heber. The service, directed by Robert Rob-ert Anderson, of ithe Third Ward bishopric, was held in the Third-Sixth Third-Sixth Ward Chapel. Previous to the church service prayer at the Mortuary was offered of-fered by Lloyd B. Adamson, a brother. Opening prayer at the funeral service was given by Walt Adamson, a nephew. Mary Deveraux and Delores Eldredge sang "Beyond the Sunset" Sun-set" accompanied by Alene Fug-al. Fug-al. A very interesting life history his-tory of the departed was read by Mrs. Clark Brown. Speakers who paid 'tribute to . the memory of Mr. Adamson were Parley Christiansen and Clarence Hilton, both of whom had known Mr. Adamson and his family intimately and they offered offer-ed words of consolation and hope to the bereaved family. Closing number was a vocal solo "O My Father" sung by Gene Nelson, accompanied by Lorin Jex. Prelude and postlude organ music was played by Mary Dever-eaux. Dever-eaux. Benediction was pronounced by Bishop Ardie Adams, a inephew. Burial was made in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery where Glade Hilton offered the dedicatorial prayer. Pallbearers, all close, friends, were Milton Adamson, C. R. Clark, Lloyd Gray, Arnold Henrichson, Hen-richson, Randall Shipley, and Ruben Ru-ben Tomlinson. Flowers were cared car-ed for and arranged by the Third Ward Relief Society. |
