Native Dies in Idaho Truck-Bus Collision Feb. 3 Mrs. Fern Deveraux Thomas, native na-tive of Pleasant Grove, died instantly in-stantly Feb. 3. when the Greyhound Grey-hound bus in which she was a passenger pas-senger collided ith a butane truck on icy U.S. Highway 40 just east of Nyack Lodge. Colfax, Calif., according ac-cording to word received Tuesday by the dead woman's bi other, Ira Deveraux, who is awaiting further details and will leave for Tetonia. Idaho, home of the dead woman. Mrs. Thomas was the wife of Jesse Thomas, who escaped serious injury in the collision. Mrs. Thomas was born in Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove, Jan. 17, to William and Sylvia Tissany Devsrau . She received re-ceived her schooling and grew to young womanhood here and later moved with her family to Tetonia. Idaho where she married Jess3 Thomas and has since made her home there. Survivors include four children. Glen Thomas, California, and Carol, Car-ol, Dennis, and Ronnie of Tetonia. |
