Show Funeral Services Are Today For Mrs. Hilda Fillerup Mrs. Hilda Ronley Fillerup, 69, died Monday at her home, 799 S. Main in Pleasant Grove. She had been in ill health for many years. She was born Feb, 24, 1885, in Narvik, Norway, the daughter of Markus J. E. and Hanna Katrine Rasmussen Ronlev. She received her education in Norway and as a young woman became a tailor. She served in this caDacitv in Norwav until 1920, when she came to Salt Lake City as a convert to the LDS Church. She married Andrew Peter Fillerup Fill-erup on Sept 7, 1921, in the Salt Lake LDS temple. They made their home in Vineyard where Mr. Fillerup Fill-erup was a farmer. In 1942 their property was purchased for the Geneva Steel Plant, and they moved mov-ed to Pleasant Grove. She was an active member of the LDS Church, serving for many years in the Vineyard ward as a Relief Society teacher and on the old folks committee. She also did much temple work in recent years with her husband. Mr. Fillerup died a month ago, on April 1. She is survived by one son and two daughters, Weslie O. Fillerup, Filler-up, Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Vivian Bailey and Mrs. Delpha Warren, both of Salt Lake City; five grandchildren; grand-children; one great-grandchild; two brothers, Martin H., and Markus Mar-kus Ronlev, both of Norway. Funeral sendee will be conducted conduct-ed today (Friday), at 1 p.m. in the Berg Drawing Room Chapel. Officiating will be Welby Gammon, Gam-mon, bishop of the Pleasant Grove Fifth ward. Interment will be in the Provo City Cemetery. |
