Show Funeral Services Will Be Held Friday At 1 p.m. For Wm. Stagg Wm. Stagg, 75, died June 18 in a Provo Hospital, after a long illness. He was born in Pleasant Grove, June 30, 1880. a son of Charles and Elia Gilbert Stagg. He received rece-ived his education in the schools of this city and the Brigham Young Academy. He was a farmer by occupation, and also for years freighted ore by team and wagon from the mines min-es in American Fork canyon. He was a member of the LDS church and at the time of his death, held the office of high priest in Pleasant Grove Second ward. He married R-hoda Robison in the Salt Lake Temple on Nov. 20. 1907. She with the following children survive: Mrs. Merrill (Florence; Smith, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Harvey Har-vey (Margaret) Hanson and Robert Rob-ert Stagg American Pork; Mrs. Sam (Leah) Calder, Mrs. Dale (Beth) Parker, and Richard Stagg of Los Angeels, California; Mrs. Tom (Nell) Williiams, Hampton, Virginia. 22 grand children, and three sisters, Mrs. Mathilda Christianson of American Fork, Mrs. Owen Christianson, Pleasant Grove and Mrs. Lonard S. Walker, Lindon. Funeral services directed by Bishop' El wood Allen will be held in the 2nd-4th ward chapel Friday June 22 at 1 p.m. Friends may call at Olpin-Sundberg Mortuary Thursday Thur-sday 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday until un-til time of Semites. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cerne-i Cerne-i tery. |
