Show Funeral Rites For Shirley Huntsman Were Saturday Touching and impressive funeral fun-eral services were conducted Saturday Sat-urday in the Third ward LDS chapel for Shirley Huntsman. Beginning Be-ginning at one p.m. the service was conducted by Bryan Fugal of the Third Ward bishopric. Invocation was offered by Raymond Ray-mond Bastian, followed by a vocal duet by Mr. and Mrs. Richard Deveraux. accompanied by Anne West. They sang "In the Garden." First speaker was Parley Chris-tianson, Chris-tianson, who paid tribute to the life of the deceased, her sweet kindly disposition, and her faith in the gospel and her untiring devotion de-votion to duty in her calling in her church. William C. Smith also told of -his many pleasant associations with Shirley as 'a seminary student stud-ent and as a missionary, whose mission was "maybe needed in the beyond." Annette Ahlstrom, accompanied by Ileen Judd played a violin solo "I'll Go Where You Want Me To Go." President Merrill N. Warnick spoke words of faith and encouragement encour-agement to the family. Closing remarks of sympathy and appreciation were made by Bishop Calvin Walker. Closing musical number was an organ solo "A Terfect Day", played by Anne West, who also played the prelude pre-lude and postlude organ music. Benediction was pronounced by LaVar Huntsman. Internment, directed by Olpin Mortuary was made in the Pl-jos-ant Grove City cemetery, where Lawrence Cox offered the dedica-tcrial dedica-tcrial prayer. Pallbearers were Lawrence Farr, John Roundy, Thomas Atkinson, John Lohirian, Viron Washburn, Charles Rode-beck. Rode-beck. Flowers were taken care of by Shirley's mutual class, assisted by ladies of the relief society. |
