Show Virgil Leonard Died Thursday Of Heart Ailment Alfred Virgil Leonard, 39, died early Thursday morning at the 'American Fork hospital of a heart ailment, after a few hours illness. He was born March 20, 1913 in Black Fork, Ohio, a son of Herbert E. and Alta Florence Leonard. He attended the schools there and came to Utah in 1935. He married Edith Nielson on June 10, 1938. This marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake temple Nov. 25, 1950. He was an active member of the LDS church, was a ward teacher, a scoutmaster, and at the , time of his death was an elder in the Third ward. For years he was employed by Fugal Contractors. Survivors include his widow, two sons, Grant H., and Douglas V., his parents, and six sisters and four brothers, Lucile Adkins, Iva Atlkins, Clara Smith, Christine Kirk, LaVon Evans, and Hazel Leonard, Edwin, Wayne, Denver, 'all of Oak Hill, Ohio. Funeral arrangements are pending pend-ing word from relatives' in Ohio. |
