Show Funeral Services Held Monday For Virgil Leonard The Third ward chapel was well filled Monday with grief stricken relatives and friends who gathered to pay final tribute of respect to the memory of Virgil Leonard and offer sympathy to his family. fam-ily. The service was counducted by Bishop's Counselor Theodore E. Rees and began at 1 p.m. Opening prayer was offered by Bryan Fugal. of the Third Ward Bishopric. A vocal trio, I Know That My R.edeemer Lives, was sung by Ida Mae Christiansen, Mary Rasmus-sen Rasmus-sen and Doril Woolley, accompanied accompan-ied by Anne West. Speakers were Parley Christiansen, Christ-iansen, Neil Fugal, President Mer- rill N. Warnick and Bishop Calvin Walker. All told of the fine energetic ener-getic work of Mr. Leonard, his devotion to his family and his Continued on page 2 son, Charles Christiansen. Honorary pallbearers were the 11 year old boy scouts of Mr. Leonard's troop. Flowers were arranged by the Third Ward Relief Society, assisted assist-ed by the scouts. Benediction was pronounced by Milton Adamson. Interment directed by Olpin j Mortuary took place in the Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove City Cemetery, where the dedicatorial prayer was offer-ed offer-ed by Stewart Dun-ant. Pallbearers included Vance .
