Show Mrs. Nettie Carson Is Buried Here Graveside services for Mrs. Nettie Net-tie Carson, 78, were held Tuesday at 4 p. m. in the Plasant Grove City cemetery. Bishop Calvin Walker Wal-ker of the Third ward was in charge. Mrs. Carson died Friday at 2 p. m. in a Los Angeles hospital after a lingering illness. She was born June 17, 1873, in Deer Creek, American Fork canyon, can-yon, a daughter of James and Helen Winters Hickerson. She was married to Monte Frank Carson, Sept. 10, 1896, in Ogden. He died July 1, 1942. Surviving are four sons and two dauhgters Mrs. Kenneth D. (Helen) (Hel-en) Jensen, Archie A., Lloyd V. and Cecil Frank Carson all of Los Angeles; Monte Allen Carson, Sacramento, Sac-ramento, Calif., and Mrs. Lyman G. (Nettie) Clark, Magna; eight grand children; two great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Mary M. Wadley, Pleasant Grove. President Lewis E. Olpin offered offer-ed the dedicatory prayer. |
