Show Funeral Services Held Monday For Annie R. Anderson The Third ward chapel was filled fill-ed to capacity Monday afternoon, when relatives and friends gathered gath-ered to pay last tribute of respect to the memory of Mrs. Annie R. Anderson, and express sympathy for her family. With Bishop Calvin Walker in charge the impressive service opened op-ened at 2 p.m. with Patriarch D. B. Thome offering the invocation. He was followed by a vocal number num-ber "O My Father" sung by Mrs. J. E. Hardman, Mrs. Lee Beers and Mrs. Glade Bullock, accompanied accom-panied by Miss Anne West. First speaker C. J. Cpbbley, former for-mer bishop of Lindon ward, after paying tribute to the memory of Mrs. Anderson and also to her husband, stressed the fact that what we do for ourselves dies with us, what we do for others, Is eternal. A. L. Cullimore, among other things, according to plan of Christ all who are born must die, and that the righteous need not fear death. Niels Fugal, a life-long friend of the family, chose to speak on the three spheres of action and degrees de-grees of glory. Interspersing the speaker, Warren War-ren Kirk accompanied by Miss West sang "Face to Face." Bishop Bish-op Calvin Walker was the last speaker and expressed kindness and appreciation for the work of the Anderson's in the ward, along with sympathy for the husband and the family. The final musical number, a vocal vo-cal trio, was sung by Mrs. Malcolm Christianson, Miss Doril Woolley, and Miss Mary Rasmussen, directed dir-ected and accompanied by Mrs. Mary Neves. Miss Anne West played prelude and portlude organ music. Benediction was pronounced by Patriarch L. M. Atwood. Internment, directed by Olpin Mortuary, was made in the Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove City cemetery. J. C. Hilton offered the dedicatorical prayer. Pallbearers, all relatives of the deceased, included Garth Walker, Malcolm Christianson, Grant Radmall, Milton West, Marvin Mar-vin Radmall, Stewart Radmall. Flowers were arranged by the Third Ward Relief Society. Mrs. Anderson 72, died Friday morning in a Provo hospital of a cerebral hemmorrhage. She was born in Pleasant Grove, January 13, 1880, a daughter of Alma and Sine Larsen Radmall. She was married to Albert Anderson Ander-son January 10, 1901 in the Salt Lake Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was an active member of the LDS Church. For a number of years she was president of the Lindon ward Primary Association. She was a Relief Society teacher for more than 40 years. Mrs. Anderson is survived by her husband and a son, Dr. Dean A. Anderson, Los Angeles; two grandchildren, one great-grandchild; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth El-izabeth Hansen, American Fork; Miss Ethel Radmall, Pleasant Grove, Miss Verda Radmall, Salt Lake City; four brothers, Nephi D., Millen and Vilace L. Radmall, Pleasant Grove, and Lawrence L. Radmall, Ogden. |
