Show Funeral Services For Victor Barney To Be Held Today Victor H. Barney, 78, died at his home here Wednesday at 9:45 a.m. of a stroke suffered Saturday. He was born at Kanosh, Millard County, Oct. 7, 1871 a son of Henry and Emily Holton Barney. He married mar-ried Margaret Chaiiesworth in Fillmore, Fill-more, Nov. 21, 1897. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake t emple, Church of Jesus Christ i f Latter-day Saints. He lived in Emery and Carbon counties before moving to Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove in 1928. I He was an active worker in the LDS church and was a high priest at the time of his death. He served ser-ved in the bishopric of Emery ward for six years and was custodian of the Pleasant Grove Third ward for 10 years. He was a ward teacher, teach-er, in Pleasant Grove until his health failed recently. -j Surviving are his widow, Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove and the following sons and daughters.
