Show P. G. People Attend Funeral Mr .and Mrs. Joseph Mills, Mrs. Emily Ray, Misses Martha Ann and Lucile Mills, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Mills, Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Wadley, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Mills, Mr and Mrs. George Paul and Mrs. Sadie Chandler on Saturday attended the funeral of David Goodyear at 36 E. 7th South in Salt Lake City. Bishop L. H. Crockett, Jr., of the McKay Ward of the L. D. S church was in charge. ' Mr. Goodyear was born in Farmington Sept. 9, 1870, a son of Hyrum and Eliza Jane Rod-gers Rod-gers Goodyear. He was employed until retiring ten years ago by the Bennett Glass and Paint Com pany for 20 years. Prior to that he worked for ZCMI for 30 years. A member of the church he fill ed a mission to Great Britain from 1898 to 1900. He was a high priest in the McKay Ward. On Feb. 17, 1903, he married Mary Elizabeth Bullock in the Salt Lake Temple. Surviving in addition to his widow are two sons, Earl B. and Orson B. Goodyear, Salt Lake City two daughters, Mrs. E. G. (Laura) Hout; San Francisco, and Mrs. R. C. (Lucille) Baker, New York City, two brothers, George Alfred and Joseph Willard Goodyear, Salt Lake City and eight grandchildren |
