Show Funeral Services Conducted For-William For-William Walters Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday for Willian Henry Walter who died Monday at his home in Pleasant Grove. The service ser-vice was held in the Third ward chapel at 4 p.m. with Bishop Calvin Cal-vin Walker in charge. Invocation was offered by Joseph Jo-seph Robison. Speakers who paid tribute to the memory of the dead man spoke words of faith and encouragement to the family were J. C. Hilton, Bishop Neil Y. Fugal and closing remarks by Bishop Walker. Musical numbers Included two vocal duets, "Beautiful Isle" and "Rock of Ages" by Mrs. J. E. Hardman and Mrs. Leland Beers and the closing number "Going Home" bv Mrs. Vance West. Miss Anne West accompanied all numbers num-bers and also played prelude and postlude organ music. Benediction was pronounced by Milton Adamson and the grave in the Pleasant Grove cemetery was dedicated by Theodore Rees of the Third ward bishopric. Mr. Walter was born in December, Decem-ber, 1869 in Lincoln, Neb. He was one of the early settlers in Montana. Mon-tana. He had lived in Utah 15 years and in Pleasant Grove 5 years. Survivors include two sons, Wesley Wes-ley Walters, American Fork, Raymond Ray-mond Walters, Deer Lodge, Montana, Mon-tana, 2 daughters, Nettie Bergloff, Spokane, Washington and Jessie i Sibley, California, one sister, 9 grandchildren and 7 great grand children. |
