Show Services Conducted Monday For Hettie Mathews Impressive funeral rites were conducted Monday at 1 p.m. in the Third ward for Mrs. Hettie ' Mathews, 71, who died Wednesday December 15, at her home here. With Bishop Neil Y. Fugal in charge the service opened with a vocal solo, "I Know That My Redeemer Re-deemer Lives" by Mrs. Marie Brown accompanied by Mrs. Mary Neves. Invocation was offered by H. E. Monson a close, neighbor of Mrs. Mathews. First speaker was Daryl Huish of the Third ward bishopric. He was followed by Bishop Alma : Flannigan of the Virgin ward bishopric bish-opric who told of the work of both Mr. ana ivirs. iviauiews m uien home community. : Joseph S. Walker in his talk, stressed motherhood, its honors and responsibilities. Musical numbers interspersing the speakers were a vocal solo, "When the Angels Have Lifted the Veil" sung by Bishop Hadfield of Lehi, accompanied by his daughter and an organ solo by Mary Neves. After closing remarks of sympathy sym-pathy and appreciation by Bishop Bish-op Fugal, Mrs. Erowr - rcompanied by Mis. Neves sa;fg".cue closing number "My Faith in Thee" and Milton Adamson pronounced the benediction. Prelude and postlude music was played by Mrs. Neves.
