Show Anna C. Galli Died At Her Home Monday i Mrs. Anna C. Galli, 78, widow of the late Joseph Galli, died Monday Mon-day night at her home after a three month illness. She was born April 10, 1870, in Vanserel, Hyoring, Denmark, a daughter of Jens Christen and Frenna Jensen Christensen. When she was five years old the -family, converts to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, came to Utah and settled in Pleasant Grove. She was married to Mr. Galli March 16, 18S8, and later received endowment in the Salt Lake LDS temple. Mr. Galli died in 1945. An active church and civic worker, work-er, Mrs. Galli has been an" LDS Relief Society teacher since 1894 had served as MIA beekeeper, Sunday Sun-day school teacher, burial clothing sewer, etc. She had knitted many articles for soldiers in World War I and had also been a midwife. Eight of her 11 sons and daugh- ters survive: Mrs. Ora G. Sweat, Heber; Clarence Galli, Ogden; Mrs. Joseph (Pearl) Street, Park City; Mrs. Orvel (Bertha) Sweat, Cent-1 er, Wasatch County; Mrs. Bert (Ruby) Cluff, Fillmore, Millard County; Mrs. Francis (Alice) Probst, Midway; Lewis Leonard and John Lester Galli, Salt Lake I City. Also surviving are 38 grand-I grand-I children, 58 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, and a sister, Mrs. Lavina Fugal, Pleasant Grove. Funeral services will be conducted conduct-ed Saturday at 1 p.m. in Midway First LDS ward chapel by Irvin Bowden, bishop. Friends may call at the Olpin Mortuary, Heber, Thursday and Friday and at the family home in Midway Friday evening ev-ening and Saturday prior to services. serv-ices.
