Show Former PI. Grove Resident Dies At Magna Thomas Wilson, 65, for many years a resident of Pleasant Grove died Friday at his home in Garfield following a long illness. He was born March 7, 1883, in Almy, Wyoming to Spiers and Margaret Lockhart Wilson. When a young child he moved with his family to Pleasant Grove where he attended school and spent his younger manhood. On September 28, he married Eva Thornton at American Fork and later moved with her to Garfield where he has been employed as a millright for 35 years, and was an active member mem-ber of the Church of Latter-day Saints. Surviving are his widow, one son Thomas Ray Wilson of Garfield, 4 daughters, Mrs. Ruby Fry, Berkeley, Berk-eley, California; Mrs. Mazie Perkins, Perk-ins, Magna; Mrs. Ruth Weaver and Mrs. Florence Jerome of Salt Lake City; 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild; two brothers, Roy Wilson, Long Beach, California, Califor-nia, and Angus Wilson, Garfield; five sisters, Mrs. Margaret Shoell, and Mrs. Nettie Wadley. of Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove, Mrs. May Carlson of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Ethel Lawson of Caspar, Wyoming, and Mrs. Irene Pcay, Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m. in theGar-field theGar-field LDS ward chapel with Bishop Loren Poulson officiating. Internment Intern-ment was made in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. |
