Show Funeral Friday At Tabernacle For James H. Gillman James H. Gillman, 78, prominent farmer of Linden, died at his home Tuesday evening, of causes incident inci-dent to age. He was born in Linden, on April 22, 1864, a son of James Henry and Alice Wick-ham Wick-ham Gillman, being the first wihte child born in the comunity of Linden. Lin-den. He spent his entire life in that community, where he has followed fol-lowed the occupation of farmer and construction worker, being employed employ-ed for 20 years as supervisor of the Provo Reservoir Water Users canal. He was a member of the Latter Day Saints church and was an Eleder in the ward. Mr. Gillman was married to Emma Robbins in 1884, and to this union nine children was bom: She died November 17, 1925. He . married mar-ried May Ash McCandless on October Oct-ober 28, 1931. He is survived by his wodow, and the following sons and daughters: J. W. Gillman, Ray Gillman, Glen Gillman, Orem; Vern Gillman, Kenneth Gillman, Mrs. Viola Harris, Lniden; Clyde Gillman, Gill-man, Mrs. Manet Jorgensen, Salt Lake City; and Mrs. Fern Gardner Ogden. He is also survived by 38 grand children and 31 great-grand great-grand children. Funeral services will be held at the Timpanogos Stake Tabernacle Friday afternoon at 2 p. m. with Jesse K. Thorne, Bishop of the Linden ward in charge. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove cemetery under the direction of Olpin Bros. Mortuary. Friends may call at the Olpin Mortuary. Thursday evening, and t familv home in Linden Friday until time of the services. |
