Show I Funeral Rites N Held For Leonard Miller Impressive funeral services were conducted Saturday in the First ward LDS chapey for A. Leonard Miller, 63, who died Sunday morning morn-ing at his home in Lindon. With Boshop Alroy Gillman of Lindon ward in charge, the service began at 2 o'clock. The opening number, "That Silver Haired Daddy Dad-dy of Mine" was sung by Morley Steele of American Fork, accompanied accom-panied by Irwin Jensen. Invocation was offered by C. J. Cobbley. Speakers who spoke words of tribute to the lif e.and works of the dead man and offered sympathy and jencouragemsnt . W ... the bereaved be-reaved family were Patriarch D. B. Thorne, A. H. Lowe and Joseph Olpin. Musical number Interspersing the speakers were an instrument-number, instrument-number, "Brahms Lullaby" played by Yvonne Miller, a grandaughter, a male quartett number, "In the Garden" by Warren Kirk, Elwood Allen, Earl A. Beck and Irwin Jensen; and a vocal duet, "Whispering "Whisp-ering Hope" by Wilma and Nadine Hales, accompanied by their mother, moth-er, Mjs. Norma Hales. Irwin Jensen played prelude and portlude organ music. Joseph Ash pf the Lhdon ward bishopric offered 'the benediction. Internment, directed by Olpin Mortuary was made In the Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove 3ity Cemetery, where the dedicatory prayer was offered by James A. West. Pallbearers were six brothers of Mrs. Miller, John, Arnold, William L., Lamar, Owen and Wren Green. |
