Show hunera I Held Sunday For Isaac Sundberg The Third Ward Chapel was well filled Sunday afternoon with relatives re-latives and friends, who came to pay respects to the memory of Isaac V. Sundberg, and express love and sympathy for the family. The impressive services, directed direct-ed Oy Bishop J. S. Walker, began at 3.30 o'clock with Mrs. Edith Grant Young of American Fork singing "There is no Night There" She was accompanied by Miss Meriarn Young. Invocation was asked by A. L. Cullimore of Provo. Speakers were Dr. Lloyd L. Cullimore Cul-limore of Provo and Neils Fugal, a brother in lavv of the deceased. Both spoke highly of Mr. Sund-berg's Sund-berg's integrity and dependability, and his fine skill as a craftsman, and gave some fine ideas on the responsibility of Christianity. Closing remarks were made by Bishop Walker, who paid tribute to Mr. Sundberg, and voiced appreciation appre-ciation for the family. the sneakers wore a vocal solo, "The Lord's Prayer by Warren P. Kirk, accompanied by Miss Winona Monson. Mrs. Leone Told and Mrs. Ethel W. Carlson accompanied by Miss Adams, sang a vocal duet, "In The Garden'" and Mr. Kirk rendered the closing number "A Perfect Day." This number was accompanied ac-companied by the String Trio. Benediction was pronounced by Prsident W. W. Warnick. Prelude music was furnished by a string trio including Miss Romona Monson, Mon-son, Miss Winona Monson and Miss Zoe Adams. Burial took place in the Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove City cemetery, where Guy Sudberg, a brother offered the dedicatory prayer. Pall bearers were neDhews of Mr. Sundberg, and included: Gail. Kenneth, and Ross Sundberg, Norman Nor-man Winters, Guy Hardman and Earl Carlson. Mr. Sundberg died at his home herp on Monday of last week after an illness of several months. |
