Show Funeral To Be Held Friday For Paul W.Newman Paul William Newman, 24, died at the American Fork hospiital, early Tuesday morning, following .a one day's llness of pneumonia. Funeral services will be held at the L. D. S. Third Ward chapel at 2 oclock p. m. Friday afternoon, with Bishop Joseph Walker in charge. Mr. Newman, was employed at the Dutchman mine in American Fork canyon and came home Monday Mon-day spending the day around home, :and late that evening he was taken to the hospital where he died during dur-ing the night. He was born in Pleasant Grove, December 18, 1917, a son of John and Elva Blood Newman. He has .spent his entire life here where he .attended school and later being employed em-ployed in American Fork canyon. He is survived by his parents, :and the following brothers and sisters: sis-ters: Jack and Mae Newman and .Mrs. Dorothy Perry of Pleasant Grove and Reed and Dale Newman, both serving in the United States, army. Fridens may call at the Olpin 'Bros. Mortuary Thursday evening and at the family home Friday until un-til time of the esrvices. Burial will be in the Pleasant 'Grove --Cemetery, --under the direction direct-ion of Olpin Bros. Mortuary. |
