Show Funeral is Held Last Saturday For Mrs. Noble Relatives and Mends assembled Saturday in tlie First Ward Chapel to pay tributes of respect to the memory of Mrs. Elizabeth Noble, 85, and express sympathy for her family, The impressive services began at 2 o'lock with Ertman Christensen of the Bishopric in charge. Mrs. " Edna Robbinson and El wood Alien accompanied by Miss Kathym Ol-pin Ol-pin sang the opening number A-bide A-bide with Me. Invocation was offered offer-ed by Bishop Lewis Olpin. A sketch of the life of Mrs. Noble was read by a daughter in law, Mrs. Cora West Noble. Speakers were C. A. Gamett, a neighor, and former Bishop of the First Ward; and J. A. West, who also served as Mrs. Noble's Bishop. Both spoke of the fine outstanding out-standing character of Mrs. Noble, the high standards she set for herself and her children, her keen intelligence and her great faith.. Miss Kathryn Olpin played an 1 organ solo, and Mrs. J. E. Hardman and Mrs. Leland Bee-s sang tfcp closing number Flowr Gently Sweet Afton. They were accompanied by Miss Olpin. Benediction was pronounced by Ray Beal. Burial directed by Olpin Bros, took place in the family plot in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery, where dedicatory prayer was offered by Archie Noble. Pall bearers all sons and sons-in-laws of Mrs. Noble were: Archie Arch-ie Allen, and Don Noble, Mark Maakin, Shell Aston and Herald Mills. |
