Show Louise Firmage Dies At Salt Lake Hospital Louise Chipman Firmage, daughter daugh-ter of John L. and Edna Chipman Firmage, former residents of American Ameri-can Fork, died Tuesday at 2:30 a. m. in a Salt Lake hospital, from a ruptured appendix. Louise Firmage was born in American Amer-ican Fork, February 22, 1916, and attended at-tended school here for several years. She was a graduate of Miss Poter's high school for girls at Long Beach, California, and had attended the Westlake school for girls at Beverly Hills, California. For the past two years the Firm-age Firm-age family have made their home in Salt Lake. Louise was a junior at the University of Utah where she was active in social circles. She was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and president of the Trotters club. She had won many medals for her ability as a horsewoman. Mr. and Mrs. Firmage, who were traveling in Mexico, were informed of the death of their daughter and hurriedly returned home by plane. They arrived in American Fork Thursday morning. Besides her parents she is survived by two brothers, J. Harold and W. Hoag Firmage, and a sister, Edna Fae Firmage, and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Alphonso Chipman. n |
