Show Funeral Service For Mrs. Pulley Held Wednesday Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Thornton Pulley were conducted Wednesday afternoon in the Fourth waru chapel, with Bishop John W. Pulley officiating. Mrs. Pulley, a lifelong resident of American Fork, died late Sunday following a year's illness. She was 75. Speakers at the services were Daniel H. Jorgenson, Lot Robinson and President Clifford E. Young. Richard H. Hansen offered the invocation, invo-cation, Oliver Thornton pronounced the benediction and Francis B. Abel dedicated the grave. Selections were an opening solo, "O My Father," by Leo T. Hansen, accompanied by. Mrs. Hansen; and a solo, "In the Garden," by Darrell Wanlass, accompanied by Mrs. Mary Humphries. I Mrs. Pulley was born November 19, ! 13G3. at American Fork, a daughter ! of Thomas and Priscilla Covington Thornton, pioneer settlers here. She ! was married to James H. Pulley of , American Fork in 1880 in the Salt Lake Endowment house. Mr. Pulley J succumbed five years ayo. An active church worker. Mrs. Pulley had serv- j ed in the L. D. S. Relief society. Surviving are three daughters: Mrs. Olive Wanlass Marshall of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Albert Birk and Mrs. Elmo Hunter of American Fork; five brothers and sisters: Thomas and Clarence Thornton of Idaho Falls; Mrs. Daniel Peet and Mrs. ' Georpe Pulley 0I American Fork; Mrs. Lyciia Broolibush of Idaho Falls; i3 prandcbildren and 12 ; great -grandchildren. |
