Show William Green Funeral Services Funeral services were held in the Timpanogos stake tabernacle Thursday Thurs-day afternoon for William Green, a former resident of Pleasant Grove, who died at Silver City, April 12. Services were held at Eureka at 10 a. m. after which the body was brought here. Bishop Junius A. West conducted the services. A duet, "My Father Knows" by Stella Hardman and Viola Beers was the opening number and invocation was offered by Joseph Robinson. A solo, "Oh My Father" by Jesse Walker Walk-er followed. Former Bishop Haws of Silver City, Joseph H. Adams, President W. W. Warnick and Bishop West were the speakers. A duet, "Let the Lower Lights be Burning" by Mrs. Hardman and Mrs. Beers and benediction by Arn-old-Richins closed the services. The grave in the City cemetery was dedicated by Gotlieb Buhler. Mr. Green was born November 26, 1863. He was married in 1882 to Nettie E. Richins and died at the home of his son, Leo, in Silver City of arthritis. His first wife died in May, 1905, he later married Louise Moffett, who died in 1927. He has since lived with his son, Leo. He was the father of five children, three of whom are living as follows: Mrs. Beatrice Freeman, Pleasant Grove; Leo W. Green, Silver City, and Delbert Oscar of Salt Lake, and the following brother and sisters: Herman Green, Ella G. Richins and Susie G. Robinson, Pleasant Grove, and Joseph Green of Salt Lake. |
