Show Harold Carson Q obituaries J Georgia B. Hutchings Harold J. Carson, American Fork, died Monday, Dec. 26, 1988, in Grantsville. He was born Sept. 12, 1912, in Lehi, the son of William Matthew Mat-thew and Elmeda Giles Carson. He married Lola Kirkman March 1, 1940, in Provo. She died Nov. 30, 1984. He was employed at Geneva Steel for 29 years. He was a builder and carpenter, and enjoyed en-joyed woodworking, fishing and camping. He was a veteran of granddaughter, Angie; one brother and two sisters, Robert Carson, Pleasant Grove; Eva Campbell, Palmer, Alaska; and Joyce Hauzen, Orem. Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 E. 100 North, American Fork, where friends may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the American Fork City Cemetery. Georgia Anna Bray Ilutchings, age 73, of Provo, died Dec. 22, 1988 in Provo, of complications com-plications following surgery. She was born Feb. 22, 1915 in DuBuque, Iowa, a daughter of Arlie and Mabel Adkins Bray. She married mar-ried LaMar Benson Ilutchings on June 27, 1933 in Twin Falls, Idaho. He preceded her death on March 4, 1980. Mrs. Hutchings received re-ceived her education in the Los Angeles, Calif, area. She was a member mem-ber of the LDS Church and served in the Relief Society. She has lived in Las Vegas, Nev.; American Fork, and Los Angeles. She worked at the American Ameri-can Fork Hospital as a pink lady for several years. Mrs. Hutchings is survived by her four sons and two daughters: daugh-ters: Robert Hutchings, Hutch-ings, Ron Hutchings, Larry Hutchings and Don Hutchings, all of Las Vegas, Nev.; Mrs. Jim (Linda) Wilson and Susan Hutchings, both of Provo; 23 grandchildren; grandchil-dren; 4 great-grandchildren; one brother: Don Hutchings of Twin Falls, Idaho. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Wednes-day, Dec. 28 at 11 a.m. at the Rock Canyon LDS Chapel, 2445 North 650 East, Provo. Friends may call at the Ward Chapel one hour prior to services. Interment Inter-ment Provo City Cemetery. World War II. He is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Cleo Riggs, Grantsville; a Melvin W. Hall Corinne Eastman 0 Melvin Wayne Hall, 49, of Lehi, died Thursday, Dec. 22. 1988 at a Provo hospital following heart surgery. He was born Dec. 25, 1938 in Mapleton to James Armond and Naomi Finlayson Hall. He married Roma Jean Smith May 28, 1958 in the Manti LDS Temple. He worked in electronics elec-tronics and was retired from Hill Air Force Base. He served in the Army from 1958-60. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and genealogy. Survivors include his wife of Lehi; sons and daughters: Shane Hall, Hanford, California; Samuel Hall. Las Provo; Cindy Hall, Lancaster, Pa.; Teresa Hall and Precious Hall, both of Lehi; six grandchildren; father, Armond, and wife, Bea Hall, American Fork; brother and sisters: Robert Hall, Pinesdale, Mont.; Mrs. Frank (Arline) Vincent, Madera, Calif.; Mrs. Wesley (Freya) Johnson. Lehi. He was preceded in death by a son. Randy Lynn Hall, in 1985. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 27. in the Wing Mortuary Chapel. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery, Springville. Corinne Gneiting Eastman, 86, of Provo, died Saturday, Dec. 24, 1988 in American Fork, of causes incident to age. She was born Feb. 11, 1902 in Coltman, Idaho, to Abraham and Anna Magdalena Oswald Gneiting. She married Richard Gorton Gor-ton Eastman June 18, 1930 in San Francisco, Calif. He died May 17, 1986. She was educated in Idaho and taught school in Idaho and California until she retired in 1967. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served in many positions throughout the years. She traveled extensively. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. James (Elaine) Vallett, Alpine; Mrs. Carolyn Johnson, Spanish Fork; Mrs. Tom (Elizabeth) (Eliza-beth) Callahan, Lakeport, Calif.; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters, Lou Gneiting, Menan, Idaho; Mrs. Joe (Grace) Tucker, Idaho Falls, Idaho; Mrs. Erma Schwab, Afton, Wyo.; Dean Gneiting, Colman, Idaho. She was preceded in death by a daughter, four brothers and four sisters. sis-ters. Funeral will be: Wednesday, 1 p.m. at the Pleasant View Fifth Ward LDS Chapel, 2450 N. 1060 East, Provo. Driggs A multi-region LDS Young Singles Dance is scheduled for New Year"s Eve. It will be held in the American Fork 28th Ward building, 1305 N. 100 East. The multi-region organization is comprised of stakes in the Lehi, American Fork and Pleasant Grove areas. Young Singles, ages 18-30 are invited to join. Admission is $3 per person. Refreshments will be served. Chairing the event are Kent Nielsen and Virginia Moore, Lehi West Stake, assisted by Wade Berry and Stacy Yates, Lehi Stake, and Joriy Greaves, Lindon Stake. Corey King of the American Fork North Stake is also assisting. Eva Myrtle Anderson Driggs, 94. of Pleasant Grove, died Friday, Dec. 23, 1988 in Pleasant Grove of causes incident to age. She was born Dec. 29, 1893 in Santaquin to Nels Christian and Margaret Frances Mousley Anderson. She married Burlin Kim-mons Kim-mons Driggs May 29. 1912 in Salt Lake City. The marriage was later solemnized in the Sail Lake LDS Temple. He-died He-died Oct. 21. 1972. She is survived by three grandchildren: Driggs Roy Brown and Zelma Love Dimmitl. both of Las Vegas; Lyn B. Carlisle. Alpine: eight great grand children; 13 great great grandchildren.
