Show Funeral Services Held Wednesday For Lamar B. Green I Funeral services for Lamar B. Green were held Wednesday Dec. 12, at 1 p.m. in the Lindon Lin-don Ward Chapel. Mr. Green died Sunday in the American Fork Hospital. The services were under the direction of Ronald Brown, a counselor in the Lindon Sec-, Sec-, ond Ward bishopric. Speakers at the services were Max Edwards, Lowell Gillman and Nyle T. Harris. Maxine Green Smith gave a life sketch. Musical numbers were a vocal vo-cal quartet, Audra Hooley, Ren-ee Ren-ee Edwards, Annie Smith and Doris Ford, accompanied by LaDean Gillman. Mrs. Gillman also played an organ solo. Prayers were offered by Warren Anderson, Fred Hoffman, Hoff-man, and Gene Anderson. The grave, in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery was dedicated by Dean Adams. Pallbearers were Larry W., Wane N. and Gene Anderson, Russell Adams, Raymond and Dan Kay Green. Randy H. and Gary L. Green were honorary pallbearers. Mr. Green was born March 10, 1896 in Pleasant Grove to Samuel James and Marie Josephine Jos-ephine Holman Green. He married mar-ried Roxie Ann Bezzant on Jan. 3, 1917 in Lindon and the marriage mar-riage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. She died on Sept. 28, 1969. He lived in Copperton where he worked for the Kennecott Copper Corp. for a short time, but most of his life he was a farmer in the Lindon area. He was a high priest in the Lindon Second Ward. Survivors include two sons ' and one daughter, Ray Lamar Green and Howard Samuel Green, both of Lindon and Mrs. Warren (Helen) Anderson, of Provo. 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, one brother broth-er and two sisters, Wrenard Green, Orem, Mrs. Leo (Nellie) Aston, Provo and Mrs. Elizabeth Eliza-beth Millar, Lindon. |
