Show Funeral Services Held July 1 for Melba N. Bratt Funeral services were held Saturday, July 1 for Melba Elizabeth Norton Bratt, 39, who died June 26 of cancer. The services were held at 11 a.m. in the Timpanogos Stake House under the direction of Bishop Cloyd Christiansen of the Sixth Ward. Speakers at the funeral were President David C. Harvey, Bonita Card and Chauncey Riddle. Boni Jones gave a life sketch. Musical numbers were a vocal vo-cal number, "Softly and Tenderly," Ten-derly," Bonnie Stubbs, Norma Paramore, Janet Clements, Colleen Col-leen Littlefield, Elizabeth Roberts, Rob-erts, Shirley Andreason, accompanied accom-panied by Verda Whitehead; a violin solo, a medley of hymns by Sarah Haynie, accompanied by Karla Haynie and the closing clos-ing hymn by the congregation, "I Know That My Redeemer Lives," directed by Patricia Seely and accompanied by Ann Fisher, who also played prelude pre-lude and postlude music. Family prayer was given by Edgar R. Norton, invocation by Raymond Bastian and benediction benedic-tion by Grant Fugal. The grave was dedicated in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery by Harold Har-old L. Norton. Pallbearers were Richard, Edgar R. and Harold L. Norton, Nor-ton, Bud Bratt, Ronald G. Stuc-ki Stuc-ki and Steve Hill. The Sixth Ward Relief Society So-ciety cared for and arranged the flowers. |
