Show Funeral Services Set Today for Floyd H. Adams Funeral services for Floyd H. Adams, 53, who died at his home Sunday of a heart attack, will be held Thursday (today) at 11 a.m. in the First-Fifth Ward Chapel. Burial will be in the Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove City Cemetery. A native of Pleasant Grove, Mr. Adams was born Nov. 21, 1917 to John L. and Caroline Hendrickson Adams. He married mar-ried Fern Gasser on July 7, 1939 in Provo, and the marriage mar-riage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Mr. Adams was superintendent superintend-ent of the Pleasant Grove Department De-partment of City Works. He was a veteran of World War II. He was active in the LDS Church. At the time of his death he was serving as Sunday Sun-day School Superintendent in the Fifth Ward, where he was a High Priest. Survivors include his widow, Pleasant Grove, five sons and five daughters, John A., Pauline, Paul-ine, Dennis, Myron, Craig Adams, Ad-ams, all of Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Truman (Barbara) Lyon and Mrs. Ken (Glenda) Tanner, both American Fork; Mrs. Gary (Leona) Edmonds and Grant Adams, both West Bountiful; Boun-tiful; Mrs. Larry (Carolyn) Burningham, Springville ; 14 grandchildren; two brothers and three sisters, Vern Adams, Orem; Richard Adams, Pay-son; Pay-son; Mrs. Joseph (Mary) Swen-son, Swen-son, Lindon; Mrs. Pierce (Or-pha) (Or-pha) Bringhurst, Murray; Mrs. Orvil (Melba) Longfellow, Og-den. |
