Show Funeral Services Held fvAonday for Bertha L. Nelson Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 20, 1971 for Bertha Loader Nelson, 85, who died last Thursday at the Cottonwood Hospital in Murray of natural causes. The services were under the direction of Lowell Baxter, Bax-ter, counselor in the Grove Ward bishopric. Speakers at the services were EIRoy Davis and Thomas Larsen and Druc-illa Druc-illa Smith gave a life sketch of Mrs. Nelson. Mae Bezzant played a violin viol-in solo, "Oh My Father" and Arlan Baird sang a vocal solo. They were accompanied accompan-ied by Dorothy Morehead. Prayers were offered by Daniel Smith, Oscar Evans and Melvin Lemon, and the grave was dedicated in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery Cem-etery by Clarence Cole. Pallbearers were Harry Loader, Conrad Loader, Joseph Jo-seph Barrett, Lynn Seely, Harry Davis and Val O'Han-len. O'Han-len. Mrs. Nelson was born on Nov. 16, 1886 in Pleasant Grove to Harry and Annie Pierce Loader. She married Frank E. Nelson on Dec. 6, 1905 in Pleasant Grove. The marriage was later solemnized solemn-ized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died March 1, 1957. Survivors include one son and one daughter, Mrs. Daniel Dan-iel (Bernice) Smith, Salt Lake City; DelHar Nelson, San Jacinto, Calif.; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; two brothers and a sister, Earl and Will Loader, both of Pleasant 1 Grove and Mrs. Pearl Davis of Salt Lake City. |
