Show Funeral Rites for Edward W. Lewis Held Wednesday Funeral services were held Wednesday at 11 a.m. for Edward Ed-ward W. Lewis, 66, who died at the American Fork Hosptial Sunday morning of a heart attack. at-tack. . The services were under the direction of Rex Hickman, Worshipful Wor-shipful Master, Story Lodge No. 4, and were held in the First-Fifth First-Fifth Ward Chapel, in Pleasant Grove. Mr. Hickman conducted the ritual and speakers were Alfonso Al-fonso Kester and Rulon Rob-bins. Rob-bins. H. E. Mann read the Memorial Roll. Two vocal solos were read ' by Wilma Taylor, "The Lords Prayer" and "Going Home" accompanied by Floris Olsen, who also played prelude and postlude organ music. Family Prayer was given by Errol Robbins and interment was made in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Pallbearers were Pat Lowell, Donad K. Hales, LeRoy Smith, Frank Coombs, Fred E. Ray and Harry Edmunds. Mr. Lewis was born Aug. 6, 1903 in Weiser, Idaho, a son of Edward and Gwen Reese Lewis. He married Ann Rob-bins Rob-bins May 23, 1928 in Provo. Mr. Lewis had been a supervisor super-visor of the plant protection at Geneva Steel, prior to his retirement re-tirement in February, 1967. He had attended Goshen schools, moving to Lindon in 1924 and then to Pleasant Grove following his marriage. He was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 4 of the F&AM of Provo, and a member of the El Kalah Shriners Temple of Salt Lake City. Surviving are his widow of Pleasant Grove, one son, Douglas, Doug-las, Pleasant Grove;; five grandchildren and two brothers and two sisters, Bill Lewis, Lindon; Lin-don; Floyd Lewis, Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Sadie Riley, Provo Pro-vo and Mrs. Elwood (Inez) Bunnell of Salt Lake City. |
