Show Lions and Ladies Visit at Utah State Prison Feb. 5 The Pleasant Grove Lions Club and Ladies met with the Harriman Lions Club and their Ladies for dinner and a meeting meet-ing at the State Prison last Monday. The inmates at the Minimum Security at the prison were hosts to the two clubs and also al-so acted as guides. They furnished fur-nished the entertainment and served a standard prison meal. After the meeting and meal, several inmates were introduced introduc-ed and told their life stories, how they started on the road t0 crime, and the crimes they had committed. The club members were taken tak-en on a short tour, and a question ques-tion and answer period was then held. Lions Club members expressed express-ed appreciation to prison officials offic-ials for their courtesy, and for the information and entertainment entertain-ment furnished them. It was an interesting and educational experience. |
