Show Burial was in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery, where Bishop Christiansen spoke the dedicatory prayer. Mr. Dietlaf was born Aug. 7, 1893, in Pueblo, Colo., a son of August and Listee Rickert Dietlaf. He never married. He was a sheepherder by occupation oc-cupation and had lived in PI. Grove for the past 26 years. His hobbies were gardening and raising rabbits. Survivors include a nephew, Howard Dietlaf, Pleasant Grove; and two nieces, Mrs. Delbert (Gladys) Ratcliffe, Grants ville, and Mrs. Fred (Fredia) Reish, Phoenix, Ari. Funeral Rites for Henry Dietlaf Held on Tuesday Funeral Services for Henry Deitlef, 75, were held Tuesday, September 17, 1968 at 11 a.m. at the Olpin Family Mortuary, Pleasant Grove, under the direction dir-ection of Bishop Cloyd Christiansen Christ-iansen of the LDS Sixth Ward. Mr. Dietlaf died at his home in Pleasant Grove Saturday morning of natural causes. Speakers, who told of the kindly and useful life of the deceased were Thelma Adam-son Adam-son and Thomas Loveland. DiAnn Olds favored with a vocal solo, "I Believe" and Norman Wright sang 'Home on the Range.' The singers were accompanied by Judy Brown. Family prayer was led by Haword Dietlaf, Bryan Roberts asked the invocation and benediction bene-diction was pronounced by Marvin Jorgensen. Pallbearers were Randy and Howard Dietlaf, Bryan Roberts Delano Radcliffe, Grant Hall and Sidney West. Flowers were cared for and arranged by the Sixth Ward Relief Society . |
