Show Funeral Rites for Ole Christiansen Held Thursday Impressive funeral rites were conducted at 1 p.m. in the Third-Sixth Third-Sixth Ward Chapel, for Ole Chris-tianson Chris-tianson 79, who died earlier in the week at a Provo hospital. The services was conducted by Bishop Willis Banks of the Third Ward. Invocation was offered by Calvin Cal-vin Walker; an original peom written writ-ten in tribute to her father, by Norma Christianson Kahn, was read by George Paul. Speakers were Martin S. Christianson Christ-ianson and Christian A. Fugal, who both recalled boyhood memories of Ole and later spoke of him as an honest upright citizen, and a master mas-ter of his trade. They were interspersed by a vocal solo, "My Peace I Leave With You," sung by Rulon Nich-oles, Nich-oles, accompanied by Mrs. Mary Humphries ,and a vocal duet, "In the Graden" Elsie Stecker and Mary Devereaux, accompanied by Janiel Fugal. Closing speaker was President Lewis E. Olpin, who also paid high tribute to the character and work of the deceased. Benediction was pronounced by Bryan Fugal. Interment directed "by Olpin-Sundberg Mortuary, was made in the family plot in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery, where Neil Y. Fugal offered the dedicatory prayer, i Pallbearers, all nephews, included inclu-ded Armo and Ned Christianson, Ralph Smith, Van Barker, Leonard Leon-ard and Robert Christianson. Flowers were cared for by the Pleasant Grove Third Ward Relief Society. |
