Show Funeral Services For Terry Thomas Held On Monday Touching and impressive funeral funer-al services were conducted Monday at 1 p.m. in the First Ward Chapel for Terry C. Thomas, son of Dale and Carol Christensen Thomas. Bishop Welby Gammon conducted conduct-ed the services, which were opened open-ed with prayer by Max Harper. John Herbst, a cousin, played an organ solo, "O My Father." Bishop Welby Gammon and A Roy Gillman spoke words of faith and consolation to the bereaved parents and other relatives. The talks were interspersed by a violin solo "Thais" by Davit Christensen. Mrs. ,S. W. Hilton and Robert Hilton sang Brahms "Lullaby." "Lull-aby." Mrs. Warren Kirk accompanied accom-panied all numbers. Mr. Stoker, a relative, pronounced pronoun-ced the benediction. Prior to the church service, prayer at Olpin Mortoary was offered by the grandfather of the mother, Sor-enson Sor-enson Christensen. Burial was made in the Provo Burial Park, where Stanford Jar-vis Jar-vis offered the dedicatorial prayer. Terry, 4-month son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas, died Friday at 8 a.m. at the family home after an illness. He was bom in American Fork hospital, Nov. 2, 1953. Surviving grandparents are Mr. arid Mrs. Ertmann Christensen and Mr. and Mrs. Tal Thomas, both of Pleasant Grove. |
