Show John C. Roberts Funeral Rites Held Yesterady John Crane Roberts, 73, died in an American Fork hospital Sunday Sun-day after an illness. Born in Kan-osh, Kan-osh, Millard County, June 28, 1880, a son of John B. and Alice Crane Roberts, he was a missionary to the northern states in his early life, and married Florence Stephens Steph-ens Sept. 10, 1912, in the Salt I,ake Temple. Survivors are his widow, son and daughters, Mrs. Maurine Wil-ken. Wil-ken. Fillmore; Homer, Pocatrllo; Stanley, Milford, Edward, Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove; Mrs. Farris Toborg, Los Angeles; Miss Jeanne Roberts, Rob-erts, Boston; George, Meadow; Lorraine and Robert, Pleasant Grove; sixteen grandchildren, 3 brothers and two sisters, LeGrande New Jersey; Wendell,, Chicago; Hugh, California; Mrs. S. A. Long-ton, Long-ton, Salt Lake; Mrs. Elva Rutherford, Ruth-erford, California. Funeral services were held on Thursday in the Pleasant Grove Chapel at 1 p.m. under the direction direc-tion of the Olpin Mortuary. Burial was in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. |
