Show Former Resident Dies at Springville Mrs. Ella Mower Cragun, 67, wife of Edmund Cragun, former member of the Timpanogos stake presidency, died Tuesday at her home in Springville. She was born in Springville, Nov. 20, 1880, a daughter of Oscar M. and Elizabeth Beardall Mow-, er. She was married to Edmund C. Cragun Nov. 22 1905 in the Salt Lake temple of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had been active in the Church, working in all of the organizations. or-ganizations. When in Timpanogos stake she was the first president of the Relief Society, a position she held many years. Mrs. Cragun was also very active in genealogical research and Temple work. She had performed the work for several sev-eral thousand names. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in the Thirds Ninth ward chapel with Bishop Cornell Mendenhall officiating. Friends may call at the family residence Friday morning prior to the services. Internment will be in the Evergreen cemetery. |
