Nearly all of the homes are open to soldiers. Most of the regiments are from the west. The people are curious to find out what class of people live in the west, and as far as I know, all of the boys have proved themselves to be gentlemen. Under the conditions I like army life very much. I have not seen any of the Payson boys yet. I dont think it will be long until I have the opportunity to see some of them. We have been in this camp nearly a week. It is somewhat different from Camp Mills. I cannot say how long we will be in this camp. I will close with best wishes for yourself and the people of Payson.
